Cooked Patty
This recipe I have more than fifteen years. It is very easy to prepare and that is why I prepare it nearly every fall. Cooked patty is excellent with cheese, sour cream, yogurt, homemade bread and various kinds of corn bread.
Ingredients:
2 kg eggplant,
2 kg carrots,
5 kg of red peppers,
20 tablespoons sugar
20 tablespoons of salt,
1 cup strong vinegar,
1 bag preservative,
4 l of water,
750 ml oil.
Preparation:
Wash vegetables, eggplant and carrot peel and remove the handle
from peppers.
Pour water into larger pan, add 20 tablespoons of sugar, 20
tablespoons of salt, preservatives strong vinegar.
Allow to boil.
Put into the boiling water and cook the eggplant until soft.
Remove from water and allow to drain.
In the same water cook the peppers until soft.
Remove peppers from water and allow to drain.
Carrots cook in a clean water until well soften.
Cooked vegetables, flour, combine and add oil.
Add salt to taste, and cook until liquid evaporates.
Pour into jars ...

Cherry Preserve
Ingredients:
1 kg (2 pounds) of cherries,
1 kg (2 pounds) of sugar,
2 lemons.
Preparation:
Wash cherries and remove their seeds.
Thus prepared, arrange them in a saucepan first row cherries than
row of sugar and so on until all the cherries are consumed.
At the top should be a row of sugar.
Cover the pot napkin on and leave for one day.
In a saucepan add two lemons cut into slices and cook.
When the juice becomes thick, remove from heat and remove the foam
from the surface.
Allow one day in a saucepan and pour into jars.

Strawberry Preserve
Ingredients:
1 kg (2.2 pounds) strawberries
1.25 kg (2.8 pounds) of sugar,
juice of one lemon.
Preparation:
Fresh strawberries cleaned of stems, wash them and put them in a
saucepan.
While in the pot, pour them with lemon juice so that all are
equally soaked in juice.
In a large saucepan, arrange row strawberries and row sugar.
The top layer should be sugar.
Cover the pan with a clean towel and leave to stand for one day.
Cook over high heat.
During the cooking do not remove the foam or stir.
Cook until desired consistency is obtained.
When done, remove from the stove, remove the foam, cover the damp
towel and let stand for one day.
Pour into jars and cellophane link.
Note: The pot should be large so sweet during cooking would not babble.

Sweet of Quince (Quince Preserve)
Ingredients:
2.2 pounds quinces,
2.76 pounds of sugar.
Preparation:
Clean quinces and plane and put in a pot with cold water and cook until it boils.
Place the quince in a strainer to drain.
Put the sugar in water in which the quince is cooked, and cook until the sugar is cooked.
Add quince and cook until thickened.
Pour into jars and cover with cellophane.
Sweet should be cooked in a large saucepan and so that the amount of fruit is not greater than 4 pounds.

Sweet of Blackberry (Blackberry Preserve)
"Sweet" is a specialty of fruit that is, in some Balkan countries is used for serving guests and also as an ingredient in various types of cakes. Sweet can be made from blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, cherries, quince, melon ... There are many easy recipes for making sweet. Here's one:
Ingredients:
2.3 pounds of blackberries,
2.9 pounds of sugar.
Preparation:
Blackberries wash with water several times.
Placed in the pot row of blackberry then row of sugar and so on until all the berries are consumed.
The last row should be sugar.
Cover the pot with towel and leave to rest for 24 hours.
Cook over high heat until the juice becomes thick.
Removed foam from the surface.
When cool pour into jars and cover with plastic wrap.
