Salt Cake from Buckwheat Pancakes

The recipe for this salty cake with (some would say a pie) I found in a magazine. Because in my family all love all kinds of pancakes, I decided to try it.

On the picture is cake with 17 buckwheat pancakes. Personally, I think it's too much so the next time I'll go with no more than 12 pancakes for the same amount of filling.

When serving, if desired, you can sprinkle over a little sour cream.

Salt Cake from Buckwheat Pancakes

For Buckwheat Pancakes is needed:

3 eggs,
100 ml oil
0.7 l of milk,
Salt Cake from Buckwheat Pancakes300 g wheat flour
150 g buckwheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
0.3 l of water.

For the filling is needed:

Salt Cake from Buckwheat Pancakes4 eggs,
200 ml sour cream,
1 teaspoon salt
200 g of cheese.

Prepare this salty cake as follows:

Whisk the eggs and add salt, oil, milk, water, and both types of flour.
Allow to stand for 30 minutes.
Bake pancakes.
For filling mix together eggs, sour cream and cheese and season with salt to taste.
Fill pancakes and arrange one to another in a refractory pot in which to bake.
When all the material is used up, bake in preheated oven at 200 ⁰ C, about 30 minutes.

Fruit Roll

Roll from the picture are cut in pieces and each piece is rolled in ground and chopped walnuts and instead of candied fruit I used the jelly candies.

Recipe for fruit roll is given below ...


200 g dates,

200 g ground walnuts,

200 g dried figs,

100 g chopped walnuts,

100 g candied fruit,

50 g raisins,

200 g sugar

5 tablespoons sugar powder.


Grind the dates and figs.

Add nuts (ground and chopped), candied fruit and raisins.

From sugar and boiled water from thick syrup, add to mass and knead well.

Shape the rolls, roll in powder sugar and allow to tighten.

Easy Coconut Cookies


250 g margarine,
150 g sugar
2 eggs,
150 g coconut flour
half a bag of baking powder,
400 g of soft flour.


Whisk the butter and add sugar, eggs, coconut flour, grated lemon rind, flour and baking powder.
Knead dough centimeter thick and spread on the board.
From dough, remove cookies by glass and arrange them in a baking pan.
Baked cookies roll in powder sugar.

Fried Eggplant


600 g eggplant,
100 g flour
100 g bread crumbs,
2 eggs,


Wash eggplant, peel, cut into thick slices 2 to 3 mm, salt and leave to drain and tender.
Wash and dry.
Each slice press by palms, roll in flour, then in bread crumbs and scrambled eggs and put that fried in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.

Caramel Cubes

3 eggs,

250 g sugar

250 g margarine,

Caramel Cubes200 g of caramel (hazelnut candy),

300 g ground biscuits,

50 g ground hazelnuts (nuts)

100 g chocolate.


Mixer whisk eggs and sugar and cook by steaming under continuous stirring.

Caramel cubesWhen the cream is cooked (thick), add margarine and stir until margarine is melted.

Remove from heat.

In another bowl, melt caramels with 2-3 tbsp of milk.

Add the melted caramel to previous mass and mix well.

Add ground biscuits and a little hazelnut and mix thoroughly.

Pour into greased square baking pan.

From above pour chocolate glaze and sprinkle with minced hazelnuts (nuts).

Put in the fridge.

When cool cut into a cubes.

Easy Salad


150 g grated prosciutto (diced or chopped ham),
100 g feta cheese
4 boiled eggs,
a little parsley,
a few drops of lemon juice,
a little pepper,
400 g sour cream,
50 g of cheese.


Boil eggs, and plane eggs, cheese and prosciutto.
Crumble feta cheese.
All of the above mix.
Add yogurt, parsley, lemon, sour cream and mix well.
Decorate as desired.
